Mull of Kintyre 10k and 1/2 marathon

Well the PBs went crashing on Sunday with a fine turnout from the Inverarary js group. Toby was in fine form and did the 10k course faster than last year in a time of 38.38 and secured the place of 5th overall and 1st male junior...I was home in 54.22 and Fiona set her new Pb in a slightly frustrations 1.00.34! the 1/2 marathoners did a fabuolous job despite the very windy conditions with Liz setting a new PB too at a fabulous 01:52:20 and 5th in her category, Penny set herself a great time in her first 1/2 making in under 2 hours at 1:59:20, next back was Kirsten getting into training for the big 26 miler with a time of 02:02:05 and then Alison knocking a fabulous 18 MINUTES off her PB to come over the line smiling in 2.20.04. A great event and great pastries!!
