News, Views and Awards

Small select group last week with a spot of cannicross thrown in for good measure. brisk run around and about the town trying but not always succeeding to avoid the ice. 3.7 miles. Thanks for your company Penny, Liz, and Aly ...and of course Simba, Lucy and Holly.
Penny, Rosie and Fee joined with the Mid argyll jogscotland group for the Christmas run for a pleasant and companionable run round Barnlussgan...great photo oportunities of Christmassy and long suffering canine friends.

Everyone is eligible to be voted for (except me)  ...beginner of the year applies only to those who started in either of the beginner groups this year and is still attending however infrequently. 1."Achiever of the year" time to honour the jogscotland member who has accomplished their goals by dint of hard work and perseverance. This is not necessarily the member who has run the furthest nor the fastest but has shown a consistent improvement and commitment.

2".Inspiration of the year"...who has inspired you from within the group by example or support to keep on going when things get tough.

3."Runner of the year". Well....we have to honour those miles! Vote for the member you feel has got out there and competed this year.
