Informal
Jingle Bells run around Clunary....Two routes:- One a two mile out and
two mile back (if you dont want to do the four miles you can turn at any
point and retrace your steps), the other one is a round route 4.5
miles with a stiffish (400ft or so) climb at the start but then it is
mainly downhill with a great view. Walkers/hangers on welcome. There
will be some signs at main junctions...and folk to run with. Soup and
Mince pies at Claonairigh afterwards. Please let me know if you are
coming for planning reasons!! As always no insurance and certainly no
marshals. £1 donation for the soup etc. festively themed attire i.e.
bells encouraged but not essential.

Magnificent effort from the Magnificent Seven
Through lashing rain and howling winds we splashed our way through 100m-400m sprints last night. However we were still smiling and smug with the effort of a good work out. Thanks for turning out. Jingle Bells run 12th December. More info soon. Big thank you to everyone who supported the Glow in the Dark run. Nearly £500 raised so thank you one and all.

By the light of the silvery moon..................
Good session tonight organised by Toby. A new twist to the weaving run (if you missed it you will have to wait and see......) followed by a mile trial ably completed by all in under 10 minutes, and we did Pyramids and skipping too...a nice warm up for tomorrow's Glow run. Well done to Janet and Kerry for a PB. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night. Please have a look at a letter I have sent from Matt, mid Argyll jog leader re a Run 4 it session and reply to him if you are interested.

Hard core runners
Great to see a good turn out on what could not in any way be described as a nice evening... Until the end when the moon shone on Kerry's excellent drill session. Thanks Kerry. Between the driving and torrential rain showers we did a really decent warm up ( we needed it) christening Kerry's new trainers nicely... Sorry about that. The hill training was a delight I am sure you all found (PS the lights are now back on...there's service for you!!) . Then the drills so a good session. Good luck to all Tin Farm 5ers on Sunday. Now that really will christen any new trainers!! Will post last nights route as soon as I have edited it to delete the car journey home as I forgot to switch off. A reminder for the Glow in The Dark run next Friday...meeting as usual on Thursday and then meeting at 1800, or preferably 10 minutes earlier at the school on Friday...my hair gel has arrived so be ready to be amazed!!
Other events...Linda is doing a charity challenge for Marie Curie Cancer care:-
The Etape Caledonia charity cycle race. This event starts at Pitlochry, goes for a wee loop around Loch Tummel, Loch Rannoch and then up the side of Schiehallion before returning to Pitlochry. A mere 80 + miles! What a woman!!
Many thanks to all for their congratulations on the award at the weekend. It was a wonderful evening that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was great to meet the jogscotland folk and have a chat.... And we know how I like chatting. Oh, and great to get an award for doing what I love, running and chatting. You have kept ME supported, motivated and focused all year and and I thank you for it!
