Goals and Events for 2010

Anyone willing to share some goals and or planned events for the year?
Here are some I have gleaned so far:-
Liz, Garret and Fee Mighty Deerstalker 20th March
Garret and Fee Anthony Nolan 10k Lochgilphead May 2nd. This is locally arranged,a small friendly run from the golf Course in Lochgilphead over the back tracks to Achnabrek.I can give anyone details on this when they come through to me.
Liz,Toby, Garret and Fee Dun na cuiche run May 9th. Details from me on this one....and remember marshals needed too!
Ann and Alison 10k ? Glasgow May 9th
Liz, Garret,Liz and Fee Mull of Kintyre 1/2 marathon (Start of 10k and 1/2 marathon races pictured) . This is a fantastic run, the best in Scotland, very friendly with great courses for the 10k (it is actually quite flat!) and the 1/2.

Another recee run today in the sunshine!! Seems okay, or as okay as we will get so see you tomorrow night!

Ice Check

Well, Liz and I ventured out into and around Inveraray for a wee run and ice check today with varying results. The danger has more or less lifted in the town itself but there are still danger spots along the forest tracks and positively lethal areas on the castle grounds.

Erring on the side of caution

It looks as though most of the ice has receded in Inveraray but being cautious I think we will cancel tonight as there may still be a few rouge patches out there. I had a quick look at the castle roads yesterday and did not want to drive on it let alone run so enjoy your night off and hopefully see you next week!

Dun na Cuiche run

The second dun na Cuiche run will take place at 11am on Sunday May 9th. Please let me know if you are thinking of running, I am looking for folk to train with. We will try to incorporate some into the regular sessions. I am also trying to get a list together of marshalls and timekeepers. Jacqui has volunteered to do registration and time keeping again (thank you!) but I need at least one more time keeper if not more and am aiming for 15 marshals again. Thank you

New Session

The new session of inveraray jogscotland starts on Tuesday January 12th at 7pm in the Shelter Shed at the Primary school. See you then!
